Basic wall mounting of flat panel TV

Step# 1 - can I do this ?

Anyone with a basic understanding of how to operate a drill, measure accurately use a balance to level off and follow instructions can install a flat panel TV.But it is not as easy as it sounds. It does take some precision and muscle. It is a two person job and will take more than 30 minutes. It is important to be patient, plan out the process before cutting and drilling holes.

Step # 2-Mounting the Television

Where you choose to mount the panel is a personal issue. I would recommend placing it in a room where it compliments the room and can be viewed by the whole family comfortably.

How you mount the panel is also quit important.I would recommend placing your set at a height whereby you don't have to strain your neck to view the set, One way to accomplish this is to use a tilting bracket that can be easily adjusted to allow for you or anyone else to lay down on the floor or sofa.Set can be easily tilted back to a flat position to accommodate people standing.

Step# 3 Running Wires.

Most people will choose to run wire inside the wall so they are not visible to the eyes, making the installation have a clean look. Another way to hide the wires is use a wire track on the outside of the wall,  The big advantage to this method is that it is easy to ad another component to the TV, like a blu-Ray  DVD player or any other component at anytime. This is an easy process because most wire tracks can simply snap open  to allow you to ad other wires for other components at anytime. You can also camouflage the wire track by painting the wire track so that it looks like part of the wall.
